Installing the sink on the granite countertops will be the easy one. So you no need to hire any of the professionals and waste your time and money. It is a simple procedure for when you have the necessary tool and equipment. The installation time will be less than one hour, and the sink will remain under the countertop for a long time without any leakage problem.

Tools required for the installation

When you want to install the sink on the granite countertop, then you have to prepare and purchase the necessary tools and the material that is required. First, you have to purchase the granite countertop with a suitable hole that is compact for installing the sink. The sink color can be either dark or light. It is your choice. Now buy the stainless steel sink with the correct size that matches the hole in the countertop. The required tools for the installing are as follows driller, drill bit, silicone gel, caulk gun, denatured alcohol, tape, measuring tape, screws, and screwdrivers.

Installation process

Before making the installation, you have to choose which kind of reveal is the best one.  There are three types of reveals they are positive, zero, and negative. The positive reveal means that you have to cut the sides of the countertop hole a little bit extra than the sink wall. The negative reveal is just opposite to the positive reveal where the sink has the big diameter, and the countertop is having the less. In the zero reveals, both the edges of the countertop and the sink wall are in exact position. Make the proper measurement and start drilling the counter accordingly if you want. Then you have to rotate the countertop by upside down, and then place th sink over the hole by making the proper measurement. Then use the glue with the help of the caulk gun and then fix the sink over it. Press the sink over the countertop to confirm the grips. Now make the screws attached. Now your sink is installed.
